we found the hotel staff very accommodating and helpful, we were'nt happy with our original room, it was too small for 4 people and they changed it no problem
Very friendly couldn't do enough for you, would stay there again.
The Alba Lodge was what we expected for the price, cheap and somewhere to use as a base while we visited my son and daughter-in law and their son who is in the Yorkhill childrens hospital.
Could have changed the towels at least once and checked the toilet paper.
We stayed at Alba Lodge for 2 nights while at a concert in Glasgow. The room was basic but very clean with en-suite. There were tea/coffee facilities and a TV. The beds were clean and comfy. Breakfast was good and staff very friendly and helpful. Ideal location in the centre of town. 24hr reception which is good when we were getting back from concert around 1am.
Excellent location for the Glasgow School of Art. It was a very friendly clean and comfortable place.
This is a no frills hotel which suited us but others may expect more.
Staff was very helpful, there was free WiFi, and the locations was close to the Glasgow School of Art, shopping and restaurants.
I liked friendly staff and a very nice family room where we stayed.
Staff were very polite and approachable made us feel welcome yet left us alone to just enjoy our stay.Rooms are basic but very comfortable just what we expected.Would stay again.
Nothing worth mentioning.
clean room, good position and friendly staff
When we arrived we found that the bed was in such as position that we had no bedside lights. There was only one pillow each, we had to ask for another one per person. There was no lft.The breakfast was described as traditional Scottish. It was anything but. It comprised of one fried egg, a spoonful of beans (so few you could count them), one sausage and a rasher of bacon.
Furnished with good taste - properly warmed - very clean - excellent breakfast
small room, cold water under the shower need to w8 ages for hot, radiators switched on after hours and breakfast was 1 egg 1bit of becon with 1 toast joke!!
room and facilities very good, excellent breakfast, very comfortable, many thanks
The staff is friendly to the extreme. Very clean everywhere.
The garden could use a little cleaning up - it makes for a depressing sight for the back rooms.
The front desk staff were very friendly, and the full hot breakfast was tasty and served by cheerful staff.
The beds could have been more comfortable.
